Thorie Hinds was born on the Canadian Prairies and received her Masters of Fine Arts (Honours) in 1982 from the University of Windsor, Ontario before moving to Devon, England. Thorie has exhibited regularly in the UK and Canada. Her work is held in numerous private collections in Canada, Australia, Hong Kong and the UK. Public collections include the government of Manitoba in Canada, the Manitoba Arts Council and the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital Trust.
